If you want to visit a picturesque place, unpack once, and enjoy the comfort of a nice spacious four-star hotel room at the end of each day’s ride, this tour is for you! Easy to reach by direct train from Zurich airport, this tour features daily rides from your hotel “hub” in different directions along your route “spokes”. 

Tour Director Stephanie will lead this tour that visits one of her favorite places to cycle: where Germany, Austria, and Switzerland meet – at the northern foot of the Alps, on the scenic shores of Germany’s largest lake. 

A bicycle tour at Lake Constance is a very special experience. You will pass vineyards, fruit orchards, and many other picturesque spots including Rheinfalls, the largest waterfall in Germany. Other excursions include the Zeppelin Museum, with its full-scale exhibit of the gondola of the Hindenburg, Momo Cider Museum, where you’ll sip away in their state-of-the-art space, Prehistoric Pile Dwellings Museum, the Flower Island of Mainau, Affenburg Sanctuary, the home of 200 free-ranging Barbary apes (who knew?!), a scenic cable car ride up Pfander Mountain and more! 

You are welcomed to ride with Stephanie or venture out on your own with our route sheets and maps. 

This is a great tour for non-cyclists too, as there is much to see and do on foot, and a convenient ferry and train service to get you around the lakeshore.
